Interested in HTML? Great choice for 2025 and beyond.

Even as we head into 2026, HTML remains the foundation of every website. Having a proper cheat sheet makes development faster and more efficient.

When I started with web development (back in 2004), I relied heavily on a cheat sheet. Now it’s second nature, but reference materials still prove invaluable when working with less-common tags or validating modern HTML practices.

Whether you’re a seasoned web developer or experimenting with your first project, use this comprehensive HTML cheat sheet below. Originally created for personal use, I’ve updated it to reflect current HTML5 standards, improved the design, and made it freely available.

This resource covers all mainstream HTML tags plus modern HTML5 elements that are essential for 2026 web development.
